How does the Free plan work?
Free is $0/mo for one location with up to 100 members — the complete platform, nothing locked. Instead of a subscription, Deadbolt adds 1.5% to card transactions, on top of standard Stripe processing. When you pass 100 members you move to a paid plan, where processing drops to standard rates with no Deadbolt markup.
Do all plans include every feature?
Yes. Free, Starter, Growth and Pro are the exact same platform — every automation, integration and member feature. Plans differ only by how many members you have, so you're never paying to unlock a feature you need.
What counts toward my member limit?
Active recurring members. One-time drop-in and day passes don't count against your limit — sell as many of those as you like. If you outgrow a tier, you simply move up to the next one.
How does multi-location pricing work?
Your plan covers your first location. Each additional location is a flat +$99/mo — every gym with its own Stripe account, Kisi doors, waivers and pricing, all run from one login and one franchise-wide dashboard.
What is the custom-branded mobile app?
For +$99/mo we publish a mobile app under your own brand — your gym's name, icon and colors — to the Apple App Store and Google Play. Members unlock doors, sign up, log workouts and get push notifications inside your app. Without the add-on, members still get the full Deadbolt-branded app.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
Neither. No setup fee, no long-term contract — a flat monthly rate, billed per location, cancel anytime. Migration from GymDesk, Mindbody or spreadsheets is included free.
